A new group of three political organizations active across Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties have announced their support for Pete Harckham, Democratic candidate in the New York State Senate District 40 race against incumbent Republican Terrence Murphy.
The Women’s Equality Party has announced its backing of Harckham.
In addition, two additional organizations have announced their support of Harckham. The progressive grassroots group Up2Us has given Harckham its co-endorsement. Also, the New Castle Democratic Committee has voted to co-endorse Harckham as part of their efforts.
